Further scene modelling
It's finally coming together! The circle above may look unpleasing but it'll be pure white with a glow to look like light.
Progress on scene so far..
I have the hero prop and 2 weapons left to add in, and the mirrors. Also the tubes from platform to platform

This is the lesser robot that will be decorating the edges of the scene and have his body parts scattered over the place.

Maya Scene, beginning of modeling
Have finally started to model some of the basic elements to my secret lair.
I noticed when modeling mistakes I've made in my concept. Oops!
The base's smoothed rounded edges is intended. But making this clover shape was difficult and ended up being messy, may be down for a remake.

Project 2 Secret Lairs Thumbnails, again
Going back to my cake design.
I like it, but it still doesn't satisfy the idea of being a lair.
I hadn't added textures to the walls, but I do plan on doing that in the final.
I think I will "zoom out" the view more, and have robots around the bottom half of the walls like I did in my earlier thumbnail, and feature some weapons and more robots inprogress and weapons on the bottom.

Thumbnails Secret Lair
Having a hard time thinking of a set up for the mirrors that amplify the sunlight.
I was very lazy on drawing the objects and robots, I just wanted to map out the area.
I was trying to draw the light still coming from the top of the dome, but I found it very hard to work with, so I decided to take the light from the side.
The picture looks pretty clustered and flat, but I was just focusing on the set up.
I think i will look again at the idea of a lens, and then a mirror guiding the lens' reflection, rather than all mirrors.

Online Greenlight Review: Project 2
Having problems with scribd. No matter how many revisions I upload, it won't show the images towards the end. I will try to fix ASAP, this is the 10th revision and it still won't show!

Project 2: Secret Lair thumbnails
Using the idea of a lens, I decided to draft another thumnail. Not sure how the set up of the environment in this one works, but it's pretty rough sketch here, anyway.
Using the intensified light it self to heat the sand.
I created this simple tile to use on the walls in my next thumbnails and concept piece, inspired by their textiles. Their textiles features a lot of triangles, square, crosses, with clear lines. This textile is supposed to show that but in stone/mud.

Project 2: Secret Lairs Thumbnails
1. First attempt at a thumbnail
Looked too much like a cake.
Colours:
2. Developing ideas of the space
3.A silhouette I made to get ideas for the hero prop, using Tuareg items, like tea pots, their cross, jewlery..
The rugs in the pictures will be Taureg textiles.
